Phat News For YOU!

On Saturday, October 4th "PHAT LOVE & the thin girl" performed a SOLD-OUT show at the ROCKHEAD PUB in Windsor, Ontario. Truck-loads of thanks to everyone who came out to support!!! We hope to visit Windsor again very soon!!! Special thanks to Kathy Culver who organized, promoted and put up with ME.....MEH!

The next show is in TORONTO (home of the PHAT GIRL) on Saturday, November 22nd at Clinton's Tavern in the back room. You really need to be there. NEED. (Even the word sounds 'needy'...errr something...) Anywhosers here's the 411:

SPEED DATING

What could be worse than trying to find love in our fast-paced, fat obsessed, ultra cynical world? How about including a four-minute buzzer to signal the beginning and the end of the romance? Yep, this Phattie is bound and determined to find someone who will love her addictions to chaos, her fixation for midnight ‘foodie-calls’, and her failed attempts to conform to society’s narrow ideals. Sounds like a perfect candidate for ‘Speed Dating’!

‘PHAT LOVE & the thin girl’ captures the hilarious love and life stories of a woman on the verge of self-acceptance. Her struggles mirror many of our own insecurities about self, body and finding true love. We meet several memorable characters that make us laugh at ourselves and the things we do in the name of ‘Phat Love’.
